What is Bullying


Have you ever been called funny names at school ? Have you ever been routinely  laughed at by someone or a group  or a gang in your school or class  in a way that makes you sad ? Have you ever been threatened or even been physically abused by someone for some reason ?

Bullying can be termed as an act when someone keeps doing or saying things to overrule and suppress you . This includes calling funny names , teasing and abusing you , alienating you , threatening and hurting you or damaging your things etc.

Bullying can be defined in many different ways. Bullying is the use of force or threat to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others. It can also be defined as use of superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. Bullying happens when someone hurts or scares another person on purpose and the person being bullied has a hard time defending themselves. Bullying is wrong! It is behaviour that makes the person being bullied feel afraid or uncomfortable.

Bullying can make you feel afraid , sad , uncomfortable , depressed and out of place. It can have negative affect on your academic activities.

Bullying  usually has three components namely aggressive behavior , Imbalance of power and repetition.
