Types of Bullying


The four most common types of bullying are:

Verbal bullying –  This includes name-calling, teasing, insulting , laughing at you , spreading rumours, threatening, making bad comments about one’s culture, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, or vulgar gestures and comments.

Social or relationship bullying –  This includes alienating people by refusing to talk to them or stopping them from socializing , mobbing,  humiliating others with public gestures or print media and spreading lies about you.

Physical bullying –  This includes threatening or hitting, poking, pinching, or any other physical harm , stealing , hiding or  destroying  belongings, and unwanted sexual touching or forcing to do things you don’t want to do.

Internet or cyber bullying –  This includes use of the internet  to send aggressive , dirty , dangerous ,embarrassing or vulgar  messaging to intimidate, put-down, or cause you harm.
